Mark Dekan is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Grupa Ringier Axel Springer Polska. In 2024, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Axel Springer Group. Previously, he served as COO of POLITICO Media Group and was responsible for the group’s international growth. Until 2022, Dekan led Ringier Axel Springer Media, the largest digital media company in CEE. With the sale of all non-Polish activities by Axel Springer to Ringier, he took charge of the Ringier Axel Springer Poland Group. Before his appointment as CEO of Ringier Axel Springer Media AG in 2013, Dekan was the CFO responsible for establishing and managing the Group’s finance function. He has extensive experience in the media business and has worked in leadership positions in various markets.

Dr. Annabella Bassler is the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors at Grupa Ringier Axel Springer Polska and has been CFO of Ringier AG since 2012. She has held various positions in finance and was responsible for Ringier’s activities in Romania until 2021. She is a member of several boards of directors and is driving the digital transformation of the Ringier Group, focusing on strategy, M&A activities, and financial management. She launched the Ringier EqualVoice initiative in 2019, aiming to promote gender equality in media coverage. She completed her business studies at the European Business School and holds a doctorate.

Marc Walder is a Member of the Board of Directors at Grupa Ringier Axel Springer Polska. He has also been the Chairman of the Group Executive Board of Ringier AG since 2012. He is a member of several boards of directors and is the founder of digitalswitzerland, an initiative aiming to strengthen Switzerland as a global leader in digital innovation. In 2019, he was awarded the honorary prize "Digital Economy Ambassador." Under his leadership, Ringier AG has pursued diversification and digitalisation. Marc Walder received a 10 percent stake in Ringier AG in 2018.

Patrick Wehrmann is a Member of the Board of Directors at Grupa Ringier Axel Springer Polska. He studied business administration in Germany, France, and the USA. He has been working in the media industry since 1996 in various countries, including Germany, France, and the UK. Before taking over as Managing Director News Media Portfolio + Investments at Axel Springer SE in 2021, Wehrmann held executive positions at the StepStone Group and Axel Springer Digital Classifieds. He is also a member of the boards of eMarketer, Ringier Axel Springer Polska, Upday, Axel Springer Spain, and Axel Springer France.
